Om Poiana Brașov
Poiana Brașov is Romania’s flagship ski resort, set on the forested slopes of the Postăvaru Massif above the city of Brașov. The ski area spans from roughly 1030 m to the Postăvaru peak at 1799 m and offers a modern lift network (including gondola, cable car, chairlifts, and surface lifts), extensive snowmaking coverage, and night skiing on the Bradul beginner area. Around 24.5 km of groomed pistes provide variety for all levels-from gentle beginner zones and long cruising runs like Drumul Roșu to steeper, more technical black pistes such as Lupului and Ruia. The compact base village features a wide range of accommodations, ski schools, rental shops, on-mountain and base-area restaurants, and ample parking with shuttle links to Brașov.
